Minnaley is a story of Shalini (Preeti Asrani) who is in love with her medical college batchmate Rajesh (Sathish). But however, Shalini’s family and Rajesh’s Family are arch rivals in business. The story revolves around the brave girl, Shalini who has to fight the obstacles to save Rajesh and prove her marriage to live happily.

Minnaley is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language family soap opera starring Nirosha, newcomers Preethi Asrani and Shiv Sathish. The show replaced Thamarai and airs from Monday to Saturday from 6 August 2018 on Sun TV which is currently directed by G. Stalin Iniyan and produced by Radaan Mediaworks.It has completed 400 episodes on 10 December 2019 successfully. [1][2]

Synopsis[edit]

- Shiv Sathish as Rajesh Yogeshwaran, Shalini's husband who loves and secretly marries her. Loses his 5 years' memory due to Dr Vaseegaran's operation, he is a very sentimental character

- Kamala Sundramoorthy- Shalini's auntie, Arjun's mother who previously wanted shalini to marry her son Arjun, tried to kill Rajesh. Later on changes into a good person who starts caring for everyone

- Yazhini as Meera Ashwin, Shalini's close friend, previously Vaseegaran's wife divorces him and Marries Ashwin(Shalini's brother) in order to save herself from Vaseegaran's humiliations
- Prakash Rajan as Dr. Vaseegaran, Meera's first husband, the arch-rival of Shalini who erases Rajesh's past memories in order to destroy her life, His ambition is to destroy Shalini and Meera's lives she is one of the Antagonist for Shalini

Casting[edit]
The series revolves around love in a family. Telugu Television Actress Preethi Asrani is making her Tamil series debut as the Main lead role. Nirosha was chosen as well after her performances in other movies and shows. Fawaz Zayani was chosen due to his performance in Sakthi, Vani Rani and Azaghu. Other supporting cast include Nithya Ravindran and Subhadhra.
