What I can tell, it is not possible to telnet into the WAG354G with the standard Linksys firmware as it has been compiled without support for it. I'm not an expert on firmware or Linux by any stretch, but I suspect it would be possible to rebuild it with telnet without much. If this does not give any help. Check your current firmware and go to download page and check the firmware release info. Use the firmware in whose firmware release info you are able to see your firmware version. Once you open the Linksys admin page what do you actually do to update the firmware? Which Firmware for my WAG354G.

It is single file firmware based on PSPBOOT.

Comparing its specification and yours, it seems that it has everything you support except 4 port switch.
My question is: Will it work or maybe you will be able to make a version for this router???

New firmware for wag354g V1. It’s based on the 1.01.11 sources.

Release note:

• Last version before uploading all project sources to a SVN server

• Firmware compiled from the latest available sources, 1.01.11

• Busybox package upgraded from 0.6 to 1.2.1 (busybox is an application that incorporate numerous unix utilities in a single small executable)

• Added in the busybox package (only from command line): -Utilities: tar, dd, vi, grep, top -FS & Devices mngmt: mkfs-minix, mount, umount -net: etherwake

• Â Support for minix fs in the kernel. Now is possible to create and use a rw partition of 128K. Checkout the guide on how to do this.
